Generally level flood plain with deep black alluvial self cracking soils. Two of the blocks have frontage to the Barwon River which form their southern boundary. Two blocks also have frontage to the Little Weir River providing access for water harvesting. The northern block has frontage to an unnamed watercourse providing overland flow opportunities.
