Description: Set in a peaceful street on the edge of Guyra, this splendid garden block presents a rare opportunity for anyone with a passion for cold-climate gardening.
Eight years ago, the current owner moved to Guyra with a vision: to create a grand garden ideally suited to the region's cool climate. Much of the groundwork has already been completed, giving the next owner the chance to continue that vision without starting with an empty block.
The established plantings include:
• A maple woodland, underplanted with daffodils
• A birch grove featuring more than 20 birch trees
• A distinctive pine nut circle
• Poplars, lindens, oaks and liquidambars
• Lilacs, crabapples and dogwoods
• A diverse selection of cold-climate shrubs
Most of the trees and shrubs were planted five to eight years ago and are now becoming established. For an enthusiastic gardener, this represents an invaluable head start and the foundations of a truly remarkable landscape.
The generous 7,920m2 block offers fertile soil, tranquility and ample room to expand the existing gardens or create additional outdoor spaces. Electricity and town water are available, while a bore or well may also be possible, with wells located nearby.
This is more than a parcel of land. It is an opportunity to become the custodian of an evolving garden and carry an inspired cold-climate vision into its next chapter.
Offered by Expressions of Interest, closing 27 November 2026.
